St Malo

These watercolors of St Malo, France, by Sir William Russell Flint are posted in honor of Frank Ordaz over at Ordaz Drawz.

Sir William Russell Flint—Under the Ramparts, St Malo, High Tide

Sir William Russell Flint—A Blue Day, St Malo

Sir William Russell Flint—The Lap of the Tide, St Malo, France—1938

Look at those waves, they look effortless, but they are perfectly delineated.

Wow..look at that. Thanks.

It was pretty cold when I was there and I don't remember seeing too many people on the beach.

Definitely a must see if you happen to be on the north coast of France....I checked out Enoch Bolles...pretty cool

Did you know that Betty Page just died recently?

Yes. It's amazing the influence she had on so many artists.

In the summer there is a hudge crowd on this beach...
